Who is the Infantata?

Charles performed abortions in the basement of the house in the 1920s to alleviate his family’s financial distress. Unfortunately, one of his patients told her boyfriend, who kidnapped Thaddeus [Nora and Charles’ son] and dismembered him in an act of revenge. After the pieces were returned to the Doctor Montgomery in jars, he lost his mind and attempted to sew his son back together, bringing Thaddeus back as the Infantata. To acheive this, he told Nora he used “the beating heart of one of our girls”, presumably referring to an almost fully developed fetus he removed from one of the patients.

Is Adelaide a ghost?

No, Adelaide is not a ghost she died because she was not on the grounds of the house when she was killed, she was run over in the Halloween 2 episode [hit and run].

Why does Moira age?

Moira said that she’s an “old soul” It’s all in the eye of the beholder. You see things the way you want to see them. That is the reason men see her as young and sexual, and women see her as older with a bad eye. Also note that in episode 9, after beginning to figure things out, Ben finally sees her as the older woman.

Will there be a season 2? When will it be out?

Yes, there is going to be a season 2. It will air October 2012. The DVD box set for season 1 will be released October 15th 2012.

Will the original cast from season 1 be in season 2?

Ryan Murphy will announce the cast of season 2 in February. Any of the cast that do return will be playing completely different characters. The season 2 storyline will be completely different to the first season, new location, new characters, new cast.
